Keep in mind this only looks at how teams actually played on the field. It doesn't know about coaching changes, free agency moves, or the draft, so a team's real outlook heading into the new season could be very different from what's shown here. It's also based on just the last 8 games, so a team that got hot or cold late in the season (especially against weak or strong opponents) can look better or worse than they really are.
Once the season is underway, these rankings update automatically every Tuesday morning as new results come in, so they'll stay current all year.
